Christy Kohler studied engineering and business before embarking on an International banking career that would take her to every continent in the world, with a particular focus on Europe and South America. She soon discovered that the artistic cultures she saw and experienced evoked her desire to do something creative in her professional life. After earning her Associates Degree at the New York School of Design, she founded CK Design Design Group and a new chapter had  begun…

Signature aspects of a CK-Designed space are clean, cohesive lines, sophisticated color palettes, bold but purposeful lighting, and the use of large-scale architectural elements to visually alter proportions of a room or create drama. We love to contrast elements―for example, high-gloss lacquer pieces with matte or honed textures, mid-century or modern furniture within a classical setting, and rustic features such as reclaimed beams in a space with sumptuous upholstery and rich, elegant walls.
